See how to easily set your Windows 7 computer's DNS address to Google's DNS server for better security and improve performance by going into your Networks adapter or router's properties and changing the DNS address to Google DNS which is 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 . In Windows 7 you can very easily change your DNS settings by typing "Network and Sharing in the start menu's text box and click on the change adapter seting link in the left sidebar. You right click on your network adapter and pick properties. Look for TCP/IPV4 on the list and pick properties. Select "Use the following DNS server addresses" Type 8.8.8.8 in the first box and 8.8.4.4 in the second box and click ok. If you want to change your router's DNS, so all PCs on your home network use 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 Open up your web browser like Internet Explorer and type in your routers website address which looks like 192.168.1.1 for Trendnet routers. Find your DNS settings it is usually found on the WAN or Internet section of your Router. Type in 8.8.8.8 in the first box and 8.8.4.4 in the second box, and click ok. Update: For Windows vista and 7 users. Right click the network icon beside the clock on your desktop beside the clock. Choose "Open network and sharing" Click "Manage wireless networks" Search for your wireless network and "select" highlight it. Hit the delete key. Back to the network symbol by the clock, if your wifi ssid is not there refresh. When you see it. Connect again. Should solve the problem. Will make a new video soon with the new fix
