[HOW-TO] Enable USB Hub on LG LW5700
[HOW-TO] Enable USB Hub on LG LW5700 Video Clips. Duration : 3.57 Mins.
More Info: Expand me! How to enable USB Hub on LG LW5700. You will need to open the service menu. To do that, take a look here: openlgtv.org.ru In this video, I am using a cheap ebay universal remote (Model TV-139F). By using Trial-and-Error, I test all the different codes for LG TVs and I managed to find one (program code 260) that activates the service menu on the P button (aka the Magic Button). Magic buttons on universal remotes are typically labelled P or S. If you get a "NO STORAGE UNIT" error code upon pressing the magic button, you have programmed your universal remote wrongly. Hit the magic button, and it will ask for a 4 digit password. Enter 0413 or 0000 and you will get in. Go to option 6, and change USB HUB COUNT to 1. Press "OK" and "EXIT" and turn your TV off and on to save your changes. That's all. I am NOT RESPONSIBLE for any damage to your TV. Do not change anything you are not sure of as it will most definitely brick your TV.
