Affordable semi portable wifi system The access point and client radio's are housed in weather proof boxes (ip56) a 12 volt battery can be placed into another box or the power can be plugged into a vehicle's 12 Volt (neg. earth) system to power them up through the CAT5 cable (poe) minimizing high RF coax cable losses from and to the antenna on conventional RF coax systems, boosters and pre amps are not needed on this simple system. Setup is fairly easy on the unit, which can be setup as a client and/or an access point. there are more sensitive radio's on the market, however, these are a cheap alternative if you want to keep costs down. This system is NOT just for surfing the internet, this system can be used for the monitoring of CCTV IP based networking and VoIP comms using an Internet or PRIVATE server system, a personal chat channel with CCTV on a private LAN is possible on 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz systems without the need of conventional Digital encoded wireless CCTV cameras to keep the transmissions private
